How to best portray them in my work can be a challenge as I rely on only the colors I receive through recycled foils. However it always works out and the end result is always a pleasant surprise! Below are a few examples of recent animal work:</p> <p dir="auto" style="margin-bottom:1px;"></p> </div> <div><div class="wsite-image wsite-image-border-thin " style="padding-top:10px;padding-bottom:10px;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;text-align:center"> <a> <img src="https://www.winefoilart.com/uploads/2/8/5/0/28509405/9341474_orig.jpg" alt="Picture" style="width:100%;max-width:800px" /> </a> <div style="display:block;font-size:90%">Stripes</div> </div></div> <div class="paragraph"><p dir="auto" style="margin-bottom:1px;">Because of the obvious lack of color in the zebra himself, I used the background to bring color to the piece as well as a juxtaposition of striping. </p> </div> <div><div class="wsite-image wsite-image-border-thin " style="padding-top:10px;padding-bottom:10px;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;text-align:center"> <a> <img src="https://www.winefoilart.com/uploads/2/8/5/0/28509405/9154976_orig.jpg" alt="Picture" style="width:100%;max-width:793px" /> </a> <div style="display:block;font-size:90%">Lovebird</div> </div></div> <div class="paragraph"><p dir="auto" style="margin-bottom:1px;">The bright red of the bird was an easy choice due to the subject matter and the hearts continue the flow of color straight off the canvas, creating a sense of movement. </p> </div> <div><div class="wsite-image wsite-image-border-thin " style="padding-top:10px;padding-bottom:10px;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;text-align:center"> <a> <img src="https://www.winefoilart.com/uploads/2/8/5/0/28509405/3576842_orig.jpg" alt="Picture" style="width:100%;max-width:803px" /> </a> <div style="display:block;font-size:90%">Otto</div> </div></div> <div class="paragraph"><p dir="auto" style="margin-bottom:1px;">My most favorite piece to date. The background was absolutely a happy accident. The relation of complimentary colors really makes this octopus pop out of the canvas. </p> </div> <div><div class="wsite-image wsite-image-border-thin " style="padding-top:10px;padding-bottom:10px;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;text-align:center"> <a> <img src="https://www.winefoilart.com/uploads/2/8/5/0/28509405/4991405_orig.jpg" alt="Picture" style="width:100%;max-width:775px" /> </a> <div style="display:block;font-size:90%">Trophy</div> </div></div> <div class="paragraph"><p dir="auto" style="margin-bottom:1px;">If you know me, you know I am a huge animal lover and quite against the idea of true trophy hunting, however the beauty of the creature cannot be ignored. This piece was inspired by a paper rhino I have hanging on my wall. </p> </div> <div><div class="wsite-image wsite-image-border-thin " style="padding-top:10px;padding-bottom:10px;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;text-align:center"> <a> <img src="https://www.winefoilart.com/uploads/2/8/5/0/28509405/2320535_orig.jpg" alt="Picture" style="width:100%;max-width:800px" /> </a> <div style="display:block;font-size:90%">Sea Jellies</div> </div></div> <div class="paragraph"><p dir="auto" style="margin-bottom:1px;">I&apos;m always drawn to sea life as offered in much of my work.
